Day 2 - McCraney Lake

Woke up to the weather being cloudy and foggy. Few of my friends were already up and had the fire started with water boiling for coffee/tea. Shortly after that, everyone was up and we took turns making our breakfast. Now that we were all feed, dry and had a night rest, we looked at out tarp shelter we made yesterday and decided that it could be better. After thinking and discussing on what would work best, we went to work tying ropes from tree to tree and getting the tarps set up right in case today turned out like yesterday.

Around 11 am, I went out to take some photos of the island just for it to start raining. Went back to the tarp shelter for cover. We made lunch and played a game of euchre to wait out the rain. By the end of the game, the rain has ended but looked and felt like it will be back at any point. We took this time to gather more wood, fish off the island and enjoy the non-rain. The kayakers went out to fish and ended up down to the white campsite next to the dam.
